Pakistan have announced their playing XI for the first ODI against Australia, with young all-rounder Arafat Minhas making his international debut.
Team manager Naveed Akram Cheema presented the debut cap to Arafat Minhas before the match, while fellow players and team staff congratulated him and extended their best wishes.
Sahibzada Farhan and Maaz Sadaqat will open the innings for Pakistan in the first ODI against Australia. Babar Azam has also been included in the playing XI, along with wicketkeeper Ghazi Ghori, Salman Ali Agha and Abdul Samad.

Pakistan’s lineup also features Shadab Khan, debutant Arafat Minhas, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed.
Arafat Minhas receives debut cap
Arafat Minhas is making his debut for Pakistan against Australia today. Pakistan cricket team manager Naveed Akram Cheema handed him the debut cap before the start of the match.
His teammates and support staff congratulated him on the milestone and wished him success.

Australia have also confirmed their playing XI for the opening ODI. Matthew Short, Alex Carey and Josh Inglis are part of the Australian side.
Marnus Labuschagne, Chris Green and Matt Renshaw have also been included.
Australia’s lineup further features Oliver Peake, Nathan Ellis, Tanveer Sangha, Billy Stanlake and Matthew Kuhnemann.
