The price of gold in the global market and Pakistan has risen after a day's break, while silver has fallen.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola in Pakistan surged by Rs1,300, reaching Rs476,162 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs1,115, taking it to Rs408,232. The price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold also hiked by Rs1,022 to be sold for Rs374,226.

International gold prices
In the international market also, the price of gold per ounce has hiked by $13 to reach $4,538 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
However, silver prices witnessed the opposite trend, with the price of 24-karat silver per tola dropping by Rs21 to reach Rs8,013 in Pakistan. Similarly, the price of 10g of 24-karat silver also fell by Rs18 to Rs6,869.
