Sooryavanshi has struck 65 sixes in the ongoing IPL 2026 season for Rajasthan Royals.
The young batter reached the milestone during the IPL 2026 Eliminator between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday.
His tally of 65 sixes is now the highest recorded by any batter in a T20 tournament. He surpassed Gayle’s previous record of 59 sixes, set during the 2012 IPL season.
Gayle had required 456 deliveries to complete his feat, while Sooryavanshi reached the mark in only 266 balls.
