Sui Northern Gas Company has prepared a gas supply schedule for Eid-ul-Azha to facilitate consumers during the holidays.
According to sources, gas will be provided to consumers for 18 hours on all three days of Eid-ul-Azha.
On the first day of Eid, gas will be supplied from 5am to 11pm. On the second and third days of Eid, consumers will receive gas from 6am to 11pm.
Sources said gas will also be provided until midnight on Chaand Raat.
Sui Northern Gas Company will implement the Eid gas supply schedule from tomorrow (Tuesday).
Meanwhile, Sui Southern Gas has announced a few hours of relief in gas load shedding for Karachi on May 26 in honour of the Day of Arafat, allowing residents to prepare Sehri without a shutdown.
According to Sui Southern, there will be no gas shutdown during Sehri on May 26. The company said gas will be provided from 3am to facilitate households preparing Sehri on the Day of Arafat.
Sui Southern said the regular gas shutdown schedule will be re-implemented from 10am on May 26. The temporary relief is limited to Sehri hours, after which load shedding will continue according to the existing schedule.
Eid gas schedule not announced yet
Sources said Sui Southern is also likely to conduct gas load shedding during Eid al-Adha. However, the company has not yet announced the gas supply schedule for Eid in Karachi.
