The Balochistan government has announced five-day Eid-ul-Azha holidays for schools across the province.
According to a notification issued by the provincial education department, all public and private schools will remain closed from May 25 to May 29. The notification stated that educational institutions across the province will reopen on 1 June following the Eid holidays.
It said that summer vacations for schools falling within the summer zone will continue according to the previously announced schedule.
Schools in the summer zone will remain closed from 23 May until 31 July.
The education department has also directed all district education authorities to ensure full implementation of the notification.
