The prices of gold and silver in Pakistan and the global market witnessed a steady decline on Saturday after two days of fluctuations.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs2,200, bringing the new rate to Rs473,162, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs1,886, settling at Rs405,660. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a drop of Rs1,729 to be sold for Rs371,868.

International gold prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by $22, reaching $4,508 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
However, silver prices witnessed no change. The price of 24-karat silver remained intact at Rs8,034. Similarly, 10 grams of silver also saw no change and remained Rs6,887.
