A new development has emerged in the harassment case involving actress Momina Iqbal and PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar, as both parties appeared before the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).
The actress and the lawmaker reached the agency separately along with their lawyers and presented their positions before the investigation team.
Momina appeared before the NCCIA after being summoned by the agency. Accompanied by her legal team, she submitted her statement and evidence related to the alleged harassment case.
According to her lawyers, the matter began after PML-N MPA Saqib Chadhar allegedly sent a marriage proposal to the actress.
MPA was already married
Momina Iqbal’s lawyers claimed that it was later discovered that Saqib Chadhar was already married. They further stated that tensions increased after Momina Iqbal’s marriage was arranged elsewhere.

According to the legal team, the situation eventually escalated into alleged harassment.

On the other hand, Saqib Chadhar also appeared before the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency along with his lawyers. The PML-N MPA presented his position before the investigating authorities during the proceedings.
The NCCIA has started legal proceedings after collecting statements and evidence from both sides. The investigation agency is reviewing the material submitted by the actress and the lawmaker as part of the ongoing inquiry.
