Two albino buffaloes bearing a resemblance to US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have become the centre of attention on social media in Bangladesh.
Ahead of Eid-ul-Azha, the two rare buffaloes are attracting large numbers of visitors in Narayanganj, near the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka. One of the animals, weighing 700 kilogrammes, has pink skin and golden hair. It has been named Donald Trump because of its resemblance to the American president.
The buffalo’s owner, Ziauddin Mridha, told media outlets that dozens of people visit his farm daily to see the animal and take photographs with it.
He said the buffalo was purchased from a cattle market around 10 months ago.
Ziauddin Mridha added that his younger brother jokingly named the animal Donald Trump after noticing the golden hair on its head.
Another buffalo in Narayanganj has also become a focus of public interest due to its hair and eyes resembling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The buffalo weighs more than 750 kilogrammes and is reportedly known for aggressive behaviour.
