Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will arrive in Quetta on 19 May on a one-day visit.
Sources divulged on Saturday that the prime minister will chair a high-level meeting on law and order and the overall security situation in Balochistan during his visit.
The meeting will review the prevailing security situation in the province and other important matters.
During the visit, the prime minister will also hold separate meetings with the Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan to discuss provincial affairs and development projects.
Sources said Shehbaz Sharif will also meet coalition partners and political leaders.
Officials said strict security arrangements will be put in place during the prime minister’s visit to Quetta.
