Pakistan's head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed said on Friday that Bangladesh will begin in Sylhet on Saturday, with Babar Azam available for selection as Pakistan’s second Test against Bangladesh will begin in Sylhet on Saturday.
Speaking ahead of the match, Sarfaraz hinted at further changes to the side following Pakistan’s defeat in the opening Test.
“Criticism is nothing new. If we play poor cricket, there will be criticism,” the Pakistan head coach said.
He said the team was not troubled by criticism on social media.
Sarfaraz also expressed confidence in wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan and said he expected the former captain to deliver a strong performance.
Bangladesh lead the two-match Test series 1-0 after defeating Pakistan in the first Test.
