The price of gold in Pakistan and the global market witnessed a decline on Wednesday after a single day's increase.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by a slight Rs1,100, bringing the new rate to Rs491,362, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold dropped by Rs943, settling at Rs421,263. Also, the price of 10 grammes of 22-karat gold saw a drop of Rs865 to be sold for Rs386,171.

International gold prices
The downward movement was not limited to Pakistan. In the global bullion market, gold fell by just $11, reaching $4,690 per ounce.
Silver prices in Pakistan
Meanwhile, silver prices went the opposite route and witnessed a hike. The price of 24-karat silver per tola remained jumped by Rs231 to Rs9,139. Similarly, 10 grams of silver also saw a rise of Rs198 to Rs7,835.
