Pakistan Under-19 head coach Shahid Anwar said that the participation in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) had helped the Pakistan Under-19 players become mentally stronger.
Speaking in the 74th edition of the PCB podcast on Wednesday, Anwar has said that the team’s success in the Asia Cup was the result of the confidence shown by the Pakistan Cricket Board, careful planning, and the hard work of players and support staff.
He said sharing dressing rooms with international cricketers improved the standard of young players and gave them greater understanding of the game.
Anwar has advised young cricketers to dream big and work harder to achieve their ambitions, adding that wearing the green shirt carried great responsibility and players must remain prepared to give their best performances for the country.
The Pakistan Under-19 head coach said preparations had already begun for future tournaments and the ICC Under-19 World Cup.
