The price of light diesel has been increased, while the fuel used in commercial aircraft has become cheaper, according to the latest fuel price adjustment.
Light diesel has been made more expensive by Rs17.03 per litre, while jet fuel has been reduced by Rs7.76 per litre.
In Islamabad, the price of light diesel has been increased from Rs270.51 to Rs287.54 per litre. The increase of Rs17.03 per litre will affect consumers and sectors that rely on light diesel for fuel needs.

Jet fuel price reduced
The price of fuel used in commercial aircraft has been reduced by Rs7.76 per litre. After the reduction, the price of jet fuel has fallen from Rs396.31 to Rs388.58 per litre.
The latest revision reflects a mixed trend in fuel prices, with light diesel becoming costlier while aviation fuel has seen a reduction. The changes are expected to impact different sectors differently, particularly transport, aviation and commercial fuel users.

The federal government has increased the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel once again.
The petrol price has been raised by Rs6.51 per litre to Rs399.86 on Thursday night. High-speed diesel has been increased by Rs19.39 per litre. A notification regarding the revised petroleum prices has been issued.
High-speed diesel has been fixed at Rs399.58 per litre.
