A policeman was martyred and a civilian was injured after terrorists attacked a police vehicle in Bannu, police said.
According to police, the attack targeted a Fateh Khel police vehicle near the Mandan police station boundary post, which resulted in the martyrdom of policeman Raza Ali Shah.
A civilian was also injured in the assault, officials said.
Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and launched a combing operation to trace those involved in the attack and secure the surrounding area.
Security situation under watch
The attack has raised security concerns in the area, with police continuing search efforts after sealing the site. Authorities have not yet shared further details about the attackers.
