A new retail outlet in China, described as the world’s largest snack store, offers more than 30,000 snacks from brands across 70 countries.
The store, covering over 12,000 square metres, sells thousands of snack items sourced from around the globe. It has been opened by leading snack retail chain Minming Henmang at Rong Square in the city of Changsha, bringing together more than 6,500 snack brands under one roof, with over 35,000 products available.
On its opening day, 17 April, it received recognition from Guinness World Records as the world’s largest snack store. The outlet has been designed to provide a distinctive experience for shoppers. Its entrance features a long snack corridor lined with glass cabinets displaying a range of colourful items, offering visitors a preview of what lies inside.
The instant noodle section, described as a ‘noodle city’, contains more than 3,500 varieties sourced locally and internationally, ranging from traditional options to rare and specialised products unfamiliar to most consumers.
A separate cola section includes two tall, multi-storey shelves displaying beverages from around 20 countries.
Another large snack store in Changsha offers oversized versions of popular items, including large packs of crisps, Oreo biscuits and instant noodles.
