A pet rabbit owned by a British couple has officially been recognized as the world’s oldest rabbit by Guinness World Records.
The rabbit, named Herbie, had his age verified on November 10, 2025, when he was 15 years and 82 days old. Guinness World Records recently confirmed the milestone, awarding Herbie the title of the oldest living rabbit in the world.
Herbie belongs to Richard and Melissa Dunham, a couple from Surrey. The owners shared that they adopted Herbie when he was just eight weeks old.
The recognition highlights Herbie’s remarkable longevity, far exceeding the average lifespan of domestic rabbits.
