A man from the city of Akron in the U.S. state of Ohio experienced an extraordinary stroke of luck after winning two lottery prizes in a single day.
According to Ohio Lottery officials, the man’s lucky day began with a 50-cent game, in which he won $250. Encouraged by his initial win, he later purchased scratch-off tickets from a store in the city of Talmage.
Out of the tickets he bought, the fourth one turned out to be life-changing, winning him a $300,000 prize.
The winner said he plans to use the money to pay off his parents’ car, buy a new vehicle for himself, and increase his savings for the future.
