Devon Conway has praised Sameer Minhas as a capable opener for Islamabad United.
The New Zealand batter spoke warmly of the young talent within the squad, describing it as a rewarding experience to play alongside them. He also commended the quality of fast bowling in the Pakistan Super League, noting that many bowlers across franchises consistently deliver at speeds exceeding 140 kilometres per hour.
Conway said that high-scoring matches in the tournament suggest conditions favourable to batsmen. He revealed he had spoken with Mark Chapman, Daryl Mitchell and Luke Ronchi regarding participation in the league.
Recalling previous tours, Conway said he had visited Karachi, Islamabad and Lahore with the New Zealand side. He also remembered the Karachi Test from several years ago as a notable experience.
Conway added that he had always enjoyed his time in Pakistan, praising its hospitality, cuisine and accommodation.
