Islamabad United defeated Lahore Qalandars by nine wickets in the sixteenth match of the eleventh edition of the Pakistan Super League at the Karachi stadium on Thursday.
Chris Green bowled a brilliant spell, taking three wickets for 19 runs, while Devon Conway played a blistering innings of 59 not out off thirty-five balls to guide United to victory.
Lahore Qalandars were all out for 100 in eighteen point three overs. Haseebullah Khan top-scored with nineteen, and Sikandar Raza contributed twenty-five runs. Imad Wasim, Chris Green, Shadab Khan, and Faheem Ashraf shared the wickets for Islamabad.

In reply, Islamabad United reached 104 for one in ten point two overs. Conway and Mohammad Faiq (34 not out) ensured a comfortable win. Sameer Minhas was dismissed for five, leaving Conway and Faiq to complete the chase.
The toss had been won by Islamabad United, who opted to field first. Chris Green was named Player of the Match for his outstanding bowling performance.
