New Zealand all-rounder Daryl Mitchell has expressed optimism that new entrants Rawalpindiz will begin to produce improved performances after four successive defeats in the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League.
In remarks to PCB Digital, Mitchell said he was pleased to return to Pakistan, terming the people as highly hospitable. He said that Pakistan possesses some of the finest fast bowlers in world cricket, adding that there is immense talent within the country’s fast-bowling ranks.
Mitchell said that, as overseas players, they share their experience with younger cricketers to help them improve their game. He also recalled last year’s moment of watching Lahore Qalandars lift the PSL trophy, calling it a memorable occasion.
Mitchell expressed hope that Rawalpindiz would now begin a run of strong performances in the tournament.
