Multan Sultans have released their premier swashbuckling opener Sahibzada Farhan on leave ahead of their next fixture against Peshawar Zalmi, scheduled for April 13 at the Karachi stadium.
Sources divulged on Wednesday that Farhan has travelled from Karachi to Peshawar for personal leave. The Sultans’ batting coach Sohaib Maqsood has also been released for the same period.
Farhan and Maqsood are expected to return to Karachi on 11 or 12 April. Meanwhile, in a separate report, Karachi Kings’ players Hasan Ali, Adam Zampa, and Azam Khan have rejoined the squad.
Hasan Ali, Azam Khan, and Adam Zampa were released from the squad on 4 April.
Sources divulged that captain David Warner is likely to rejoin the squad tomorrow. Warner’s manager confirmed that he will join the Karachi squad on 9 April.
Warner had previously been detained by the New South Wales Police over an alleged incident of driving under the influence.
