The first phase of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) in Lahore has concluded, while the second phase will commence at the Karachi stadium from tomorrow (Wednesday).
According to details, the Sultans hold the top position on the points table. Rawalpindiz and Hyderabad Houston Kingsmen stand at seventh and eighth places respectively.
In the race for runs, Multan Sultans’ Sahibzada Farhan leads the chart with 232 runs in five innings at an average of 58.00. Islamabad United opener Sameer Minhas follows with 180 runs in three innings, averaging 90.00, while Quetta Gladiators Hasan Nawaz has scored 158 runs in four innings at an average of 52.66.
Among bowlers, Karachi Kings’ Hasan Ali leads the wicket-taking list with eight wickets in three innings at an average of 9.50. Lahore Qalandars captain Shaheen Shah Afridi and Quetta Gladiators leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed share the next positions with six wickets each.
