A swarm of honeybees entered the turbine of an aircraft in the United States, causing a delay in the flight’s departure.
The incident occurred at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, where a passenger on board the stationary aircraft shared a video.
The footage showed beekeepers, handlers and airline staff attempting to remove the bees from the aircraft engine.
Those rescuing the bees collected them in a box for safe relocation, after which the flight departed for San Francisco with a delay of nearly one hour.
