Passengers traveling from Quetta and other parts of Balochistan will face disruptions on March 27. Pakistan Railways has suspended several train services due to ongoing technical issues and track repair work.
According to railway officials in Quetta, train services in Balochistan will remain suspended on March 27.
Authorities said the decision was taken due to technical reasons and necessary track repairs, aimed at ensuring passenger safety and infrastructure maintenance.
The suspension will directly impact the Jaffar Express service. The train from Quetta to Peshawar will not depart on March 27, while the Jaffar Express traveling from Peshawar to Quetta will be diverted from Jacobabad.
Other train services already suspended
Railway officials also confirmed that some services had already been halted prior to this announcement.
The Bolan Mail operating from Quetta to Karachi remains suspended, along with the Chaman passenger train running between Quetta and Chaman.
With multiple services suspended or rerouted, passengers are advised to check schedules in advance and make alternative travel arrangements where necessary.
Railway authorities have not yet announced when normal operations will fully resume.
