Nida Yasir, a well-known Pakistani actress and morning show host, has come under heavy criticism on social media over her bold outfit and wig choice during Eid transmissions.
With more than 2.4 million followers on Instagram, Nida Yasir has been hosting the popular morning show Good Morning Pakistan for nearly 19 years.
She is widely recognized for her entertainment-driven and discussion-based programs, though she often faces scrutiny online for her style, remarks, and occasional on-air mishaps.
Recently, during Ramadan and Eid special broadcasts, several of her looks drew attention, particularly one worn during an Eid show featuring senior actresses. She appeared in a red silk outfit paired with gold jewelry, complemented by a wig, along with a tikka and head accessories.
The look sparked strong reactions from viewers, many of whom criticized her styling choices. Some users felt her outfit was not age-appropriate, while others expressed discomfort with the deep neckline of her dress, saying it was unsuitable for a television program.
Several social media users also commented that they found her appearance unrecognizable due to the wig, while others remarked that the overall look appeared unusual.
The criticism has once again highlighted how public figures, especially in the entertainment industry, remain under constant scrutiny for their fashion and on-screen presence.
