Another oil tanker carrying thousands of tons of fuel has arrived at Port Qasim from Oman, as Pakistan continues to receive petroleum shipments through its key maritime gateway.
Port officials said the vessel is part of the ongoing oil supply operations at the port, where several tankers are being handled simultaneously.
According to Port Qasim authorities, the oil tanker MT Maritime Amity has reached the port from Oman carrying 43,930 metric tons of oil.
Officials said the vessel will be anchored at the designated oil terminal according to the scheduled berthing plan.
The arrival is part of the routine process of receiving petroleum imports to support the country’s fuel supply chain.
Oil tanker MT Spruce II also anchors
Port officials also confirmed that another oil tanker, MT Spruce II, has already anchored at the FUTCO Oil Terminal at Port Qasim. The tanker arrived carrying 55,101 metric tons of oil, further adding to the port’s ongoing fuel handling operations.
Authorities said the arrival of oil tankers, berthing procedures, and cargo handling activities are continuing smoothly at Port Qasim.
Officials noted that the port remains actively engaged in managing incoming fuel shipments and coordinating unloading operations at designated terminals.
The ongoing arrivals highlight the port’s role as one of Pakistan’s major hubs for petroleum imports.
