The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has announced that salaries and pensions for its employees will be paid in advance ahead of Eid, according to an official notification.
The provincial administration confirmed that government workers and pensioners will receive their payments by March 16 to help them prepare for the upcoming Eid festivities.
According to the notification issued by the KP government, all provincial government employees will receive their salaries earlier than the usual schedule.
The directive also applies to pension payments, ensuring that retired government employees receive their dues in time for Eid.

Officials said the payments will be released by March 16.
Relief for employees
The early disbursement aims to provide financial relief to employees and pensioners so they can manage their Eid-related expenses comfortably.

Authorities have issued a formal notification directing relevant departments to ensure the timely release of salaries and pensions. The move is expected to benefit thousands of government employees and pensioners across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
