The government of Punjab has decided to close the public and private schools across the province from March 10 to 31.
The decision, the issued-notificatoin stated, was made in view of the prevailing emergency situation. The purpose it was stated is to ensure the safety and convenience of students and staff.
However, according to notification, board examinations will be held as per the already released schedule. All other school related exams and test series stand cancelled. Schools, however, may continue online classes.
