Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has announced support for travelers stranded in the Middle East amid rising regional tensions.
Known not only for his powerful performances but also for his humanitarian work, Sonu Sood has earned widespread respect for helping people in distress. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he assisted thousands of individuals across India, arranging transport and support for those affected by lockdowns.
Now, the actor has stepped forward again, this time offering assistance to travelers stuck in Dubai due to the ongoing tensions involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
The 52-year-old actor shared a short video message on Thursday, saying that anyone stranded in Dubai because of the current crisis can contact him for free accommodation.
In his message, Sonu Sood said that those affected by the situation should not worry about a place to stay, as arrangements will be made to provide them with complimentary lodging.
He further added that any Indian citizens - regardless of their community or background - who are currently stranded in Dubai can reach out to him through direct message, and his team will ensure they have free accommodation until they are able to return home.
Tensions between Iran, Israel, and the United States have recently escalated, disrupting flights across parts of the Middle East. Due to airspace closures and route suspensions, many travelers have been left stranded in cities including Dubai.
