The government has announced a minor reduction in the price of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), with the new rates taking effect from March 1, according to an official notification.
The price of LPG has been reduced by Rs0.21, while the cost of a domestic cylinder has been lowered by Rs2 and 52 paisas.
The new price of a household cylinder has been set at 2,664 rupees and 88 paisas, compared with 2,667 rupees and 40 paisas in February.
The revised pricing applies nationwide following the issuance of the notification.
