Infinix’s upcoming Hot 70 series has appeared in official records, hinting that a launch could be imminent.
The Infinix Hot 70 Pro 5G has been listed on the Indonesian CarlCare support database, confirming its model number and memory configuration ahead of an official announcement.
The database identifies the handset as model X6896, the Infinix Hot 70 Pro, featuring 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. No other memory variants were mentioned in the Indonesian listing, leaving it unclear whether additional configurations will be offered in other regions.
The support entry also confirms 5G connectivity, signaling a shift for the Hot series, which has primarily focused on 4G budget devices. This suggests Infinix is positioning the Hot 70 Pro to compete more aggressively in the entry-level 5G market.
The predecessor, Infinix Hot 60 Pro, ran on the MediaTek Helio G200 chipset and focused on design improvements rather than major performance upgrades. Expectations for the Hot 70 Pro point to a more powerful processor, potentially from MediaTek’s Dimensity 6000 series, to support its 5G capabilities.
Implications for Pakistan
Infinix devices launched in Indonesia typically reach Pakistan within weeks or a few months. Following this pattern, the Hot 70 Pro 5G could arrive in Pakistan by late Q1 or early Q2 2026. Based on current market trends, the 6GB/128GB 5G variant may be priced between Rs 45,000 and Rs 52,000, depending on chipset, display, and import duties.
Although an official launch date has not been confirmed, the CarlCare listing indicates that preparations are underway. Details on the chipset, display, battery, and camera are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks, offering the first credible glimpse of Infinix’s expanding 5G lineup in Pakistan’s competitive lower mid-range segment.
