Social media influencer Dr Nabiha Ali Khan’s husband, Haris Khokhar, has responded to her allegations in a video statement, saying that she suffers from doubt and suspicion, which he claims has no cure.
According to Haris, there were no serious disputes between them, and he believes she was happier with him than in her parental home.
He stated that when he started a new business, Dr Nabiha insisted on accompanying him everywhere. Haris said it is not appropriate to take one’s wife to professional meetings, social gatherings with friends, or other work-related activities.
He further claimed that whenever he planned to leave home for work, Dr Nabiha would suspect he was going somewhere else. Haris asserted that he has never committed any wrongdoing or illegal act, but his wife remains trapped in mistrust and negative assumptions.
Haris Khokhar added that he wants to work to fulfill his responsibilities toward his home and family, but taking his wife everywhere is not feasible. According to him, the issue is solely one of distrust and negative thinking. He also denied any physical or verbal abuse, saying there had been no fights, violence, or use of abusive language.
It is worth noting that Dr. Nabiha Ali Khan surprised her followers last year by announcing her engagement and marriage to Haris Khokhar. However, reports of differences between the couple began circulating just months after the wedding.
Recently, Dr Nabiha said in a television interview that her marriage is facing severe difficulties. She said the relationship has not ended, but the situation has become serious enough that divorce is a possibility.
Dr Nabiha stated that if her marriage breaks down, she will hold her husband’s family responsible. She alleged that Haris Khokhar changes his behavior toward her under the influence of his parents.
She also questioned why the marriage took place if the family had already preferred another match. According to her, she devoted herself to her marriage, served her mother-in-law day and night, managed household responsibilities, and reduced her professional commitments in an effort to save the relationship, but conditions did not improve.
