Indian actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are reportedly set to tie the knot in a lavish destination wedding in the city of Udaipur.
According to Indian media reports, the popular couple’s wedding is expected to take place on February 26, 2026, in the scenic Rajasthani city, long regarded as a favorite venue for celebrity weddings due to its royal palaces and tranquil lakes.
Although the couple has yet to make an official announcement, several details about the upcoming ceremony have surfaced.
Pre-Wedding Festivities
Reports suggest that wedding celebrations will begin on February 24, with two days dedicated to traditional rituals including Sangeet and Haldi, followed by the main wedding ceremony. In line with family traditions, initial rituals have already been performed separately at both households.
Exclusive Guest List
Despite being major stars of the South Indian film industry, Vijay and Rashmika have reportedly opted for an intimate ceremony. The guest list is expected to be limited to close family members and a few select friends to maintain a simple yet meaningful celebration.
No-Phone Policy
One of the most talked-about aspects of the wedding is a strict no-phone policy. Similar to the wedding of Bollywood actors Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal, guests have reportedly been requested not to bring mobile phones to prevent unauthorized photos or videos from being shared on social media.
It is also reported that even the professional event coverage team has signed non-disclosure agreements, indicating that the couple intends to keep their private moments away from commercial exposure.
Reception in Hyderabad
While the wedding in Udaipur will remain a private affair, a grand reception is reportedly planned for March 4, 2026, in Hyderabad, where more friends and colleagues from the film industry are expected to attend.
It is worth noting that Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were married on December 9, 2021, at the Six Senses Fort Barwara in Rajasthan’s Sawai Madhopur district. Their highly private ceremony also restricted the use of mobile phones, with wedding photos shared later by the couple on social media.
