Samsung Electronics’ third batch of the Galaxy Z Tri-Fold, offered for sale on Samsung.com, sold out within just two minutes. Priced between $2,400 and $2,500, the device has continued its rapid sell-out streak.
Samsung made the third batch of the Z Tri-Fold available on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. local time. While the company did not disclose how many units were put up for sale, it confirmed that availability was extremely limited.
Offline sales were also conducted in South Korea at 20 major stores across the country, including a Samsung Gangnam outlet.
The Galaxy Z Tri-Fold was released on December 12 last month, and all manufactured units were sold out immediately after sales began. On launch day, the entire stock was snapped up within five minutes.
The second batch, offered on December 17, 2025, also sold out within two minutes. Many of the devices sold were later seen on second-hand trading websites, where they were listed at 1.5 to three times their original price.
