The case, registered under the Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA), relates to misleading allegations and defamation directed at state institutions, according to court documents.
The National Counter Terrorism and Cybercrime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) had filed the case against the KP CM Afridi.
Hearing adjourned
Due to Afridi’s absence, the court ordered that he be arrested and produced before the bench.
The District and Sessions Court has adjourned the next hearing until January 17, giving authorities time to execute the arrest order and prepare for further proceedings.
