The Sindh government has declared December 25 a public holiday on the occasion of Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas, while December 26 will also be observed as a public holiday for the Christian community.
According to an official notification, December 25 will be a public holiday across Sindh to mark both Quaid-e-Azam Day and Christmas. In addition, a partial holiday has been announced for Christian employees on December 26.
The notification, issued by the Services, General Administration and Coordination Department, states that the holidays will apply to all government, semi-government and autonomous bodies, corporations and local councils under the administrative control of the Sindh government. However, employees providing essential services will be exempt from the holiday.
