Earthquake tremors were felt in Balochistan’s Barkhan district and surrounding areas, causing fear among residents.
According to the Seismological Centre, the earthquake measured 5.0 on the Richter scale. Its depth was recorded at 25 kilometres, with the epicentre located about 30 kilometres east of Barkhan.
No reports of loss of life or property damage were received. As a precaution, residents moved out of homes and buildings to open areas, while the administration continued to review the situation.
