According to the Google report, cricket continued to top the list of entertainment-related searches in Pakistan throughout 2025. Fans repeatedly looked up matches against South Africa, India, and New Zealand, reflecting the nation’s deep-rooted sporting passion.
Local dramas also ranked prominently, showing that television entertainment continues to command strong public interest.

The report highlights that Pakistani fans were particularly focused on rising cricket talents. Among the most searched players were:

Beyond sports, Pakistanis’ practical interests also shaped search behaviour. The report shows that sandwich recipes were among the most frequently searched food items across the country — a trend that continued throughout the year.

Google also noted a major spike in searches related to artificial intelligence tools. The trend underscores the growing public interest in AI, signaling rising adoption and curiosity among Pakistani internet users in 2025.
