An Islamabad anti-terrorism court has begun proclamation proceedings against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi in a case linked to a protest held on November 26.
According to details surfaced on Thursday, the court has also initiated the same process against Provincial Minister Meena Khan Afridi and Dr Amjad.
The case came before Judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain of the Anti-Terrorism Court. Despite repeated summons issued by the court, none of the accused appeared for the hearings.

Separately, few days back, CM Afridi has alleged that he faces injustice after his name was placed on the 'stop list'.
Speaking at a press conference in Peshawar, CM Afridi said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s due rights remain withheld and that the province would present its case firmly at the meeting scheduled for December 4. He claimed that schemes to push the PTI against the wall persist and that the centre has yet to release the complete allocation.
