Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi asserted on Wednesday that the 27th constitutional amendment posed a threat to the provincial autonomy.
Speaking to media in Islamabad, CM Afridi maintained: “The 27th constitutional amendment undermines provincial autonomy and that the PTI will oppose it.”
CM Afridi said that the PTI has decided to move the resolution in the parliament over the denial of his meeting request with Imran.
“I adhere to democratic principles. Meeting my leader is my right,” he added.

On the other side, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said on Wednesday that the 27th amendment relates to the governance, defence and provincial coordination.
Addressing a press conference flanked by the MQM-P leaders in Islamabad, Siddiqui said that the MQM-P has contacted Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the 27th constitutional amendment.
