Google AI Plus is our new plan designed to help people do more with the latest Google AI models and features, for less. After a positive reception in Indonesia and our first wave of 40 countries, we’re expanding Google AI Plus…
Access to Gemini 2.5 Pro and advanced AI features
Under this offer, eligible students will gain access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, Google’s most powerful AI model to date. The model enables advanced capabilities such as Deep Research, which helps students complete assignments, conduct academic studies, and develop creative projects more effectively.
The Gemini Pro Plan integrates AI assistance directly into popular Google Workspace apps, including Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet, allowing students to summarize emails, create presentations, and analyze data with ease.
Personalised AI research and writing with NotebookLM
As part of the free subscription, students will also receive access to NotebookLM, Google’s personalized AI-powered research and writing assistant. This tool helps users compile, summarize, and refine their notes and academic material efficiently.
In addition, the Gemini AI Pro package provides enhanced creative tools like Veo 3 in Gemini and Flow, enabling students to generate videos from text or photos for academic and creative projects.
2TB cloud storage for students
Google’s educational offer also includes two terabytes of cloud storage shared across Google Drive, Gmail, and Photos, allowing students to safely store academic resources such as notes, presentations, research papers, and multimedia projects.
This generous storage allocation ensures that students can manage large volumes of data and collaborative work securely, without worrying about space limitations.
Google’s commitment to empowering learners
“This offer is part of Google’s broader mission to empower every student with the AI tools they need to advance their learning and unlock their creativity,” the company stated in its press release.
The initiative is being rolled out across multiple Asia-Pacific countries, with Pakistan among the key beneficiaries. Google has invited eligible university students to sign up and avail free access to Gemini AI Pro for up to one year.
