Four police personnel were injured on Thursday when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated near a police mobile in the Bhana Mari area of Peshawar.
According to details, the vehicle was on routine patrol at the time of the explosion. Following the incident, security forces cordoned off the area.
The injured officers were taken to hospital for medical treatment.
Police confirmed that bomb disposal and investigation teams arrived at the scene and have begun collecting evidence. An IED had been planted near the patrol route.
