Adviser to prime minister Rana Sanaullah said on Saturday urged all the stakeholders to hold talks for addressing the problems faced by the country.
Speaking to media in Lahore, Sanaullah said: “The premier had talked about the charter of stability during the last Independence Day. For the charter of stability, there is a dire need to hold the negotiations.”
“PTI founder is having a right to appeal. It is also important for him to respect the court’s verdict, whether it comes in his favour or not,” added Sanaullah.
Recalling the events that transpired on May 9, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) stalwart said: “Those who have incited people to stage protest needed to apologise, which would had improved the situation.”
Sanaullah said: “Whenever the decision comes in their [PTI] favour, they acknowledge the judiciary. But when the verdict comes against them, they critcise the judiciary.”
He added, “Today, the scrutiny of the nomination papers has been completed. The PML-N has not pointed fingers at the PTI candidate.”
Sanaullah said that the PML-N is looking to steer the country towards the stability under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and PM Shehbaz Sharif.
Talking about Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Gen Syed Asim Munir’s recent visit to Brussels, Sanaullah said, “Visits like these bring people closer and promote communication.”
