The federal government has announced revised petrol and diesel prices for the next fortnight, effective from August 15, 2025 (Friday).
According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance on Friday midnight, the price of petrol has been retained at Rs264.61 per litre.
However, the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by Rs12.84 per litre. Diesel will now be sold at Rs272.99 per litre. According to the latest notification, the price of light diesel has been decreased by Rs8.20 per litre, after which the fuel will be available at Rs163.37.

The price of kerosene oil has been reduced by Rs7.19 per litre. The new price of kerosene oil is Rs178.27 per litre.
According to the Finance Ministry notification, the new prices of petroleum products will be applicable for the next 15 days.
Previous petrol and diesel prices in Pakistan
On July 21, the government reduced the price of petrol by Rs7.54 per litre, while the price of diesel was increased by Rs1.48 per litre. The price of petrol was set two weeks ago at Rs264.61 per litre. Diesel was priced at Rs285.83 per litre.
