The seventh spell of monsoon rains has arrived in Lahore and most parts of Punjab, bringing an end to heat and humidity. Light showers since morning have turned the weather pleasant across the city.
Drizzle continues in several areas, including Kalma Chowk, Lakshmi Chowk, Liberty, Ichhra and surrounding localities. Light rain has also been reported in Inner Lahore, Badami Bagh, Bhati Gate, Garhi Shahu, Railway Station and areas near Lorry Adda.
According to the Meteorological Department, intermittent light to heavy rain is expected throughout the day, with the seventh monsoon spell likely to continue until tomorrow.
