Unknown assailants opened fire on a pilot engine near Dozan in the Bolan district, railway authorities confirmed on Sunday.
Fortunately, no casualties or damage were reported in the incident.
According to officials, the pilot engine was carrying a driver and an assistant driver at the time of the attack. The suspects managed to flee the scene before security forces could respond.
Authorities have launched an investigation, and railway operations in the region remain under heightened security.
