Renowned Pakistani businessman and tech entrepreneur Muzammil Karim Paracha, who made national headlines for purchasing the premium 'A1' vehicle number plate for a record-breaking Rs100 million, has passed away in Dubai after a prolonged battle with cancer.
Paracha, born on August 4, 1993, in Lahore, was only 31 years old. He was widely recognized for his entrepreneurial spirit, passion for innovation, and impressive portfolio of luxury cars.
Man behind 'A1' plate fame
Muzammil Paracha rose to prominence earlier this year when he participated in Sindh’s first-ever premium number plate auction, organized by the Sindh Excise Department at a local hotel in Karachi. Paracha stunned everyone by securing the 'A1' number plate for a staggering Rs100 million, making it the most expensive license plate ever sold in the country.

The auction proved to be a historic event for Sindh, generating Rs675.4 million from the sale of 40 exclusive number plates. Other high-value plates included:
