Devastation in Kallar Kahar following violent thunderstorm
A powerful overnight thunderstorm wreaked havoc across four villages in the Wanhār area. The storm severely impacted Ransiyal, Chak Misri, Sardhi, and Buchal Khurd, toppling dozens of electricity poles and transformers. Several homes and boundary walls collapsed, and solar panels were uprooted. Massive trees were felled, while the power supply and mobile networks remain disrupted.
Flash flood alert in Bhimber, Azad Kashmir
Continuous rainfall in Bhimber, Barnala, Samahni, and surrounding areas has triggered flooding in local streams and nullahs. Authorities have banned bathing in streams and advised the public to avoid non-essential travel. Deputy Commissioner Bhimber warned that drivers entering flooded areas will be arrested and urged residents to stay clear of landslide-prone zones.
Gujrat roads submerged after two hours of heavy rain
A two-hour downpour left several parts of the city waterlogged.
