Four Indian-backed terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation conducted by security forces in the Kalat district of Balochistan, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The operation, carried out by the Pakistan Army, involved heavy exchange of fire. During the clash, four terrorists were killed. Arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the site.
In its statement, the ISPR said the deceased were involved in multiple acts of sabotage in the area. "A clearance operation remains ongoing to ensure the area is free of further threats," added the statement.
The ISPR reiterated that security forces remain resolute in their efforts to eliminate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country.
