The Sindh cabinet, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, has approved a budget of Rs3.4 trillion for the next fiscal year.
During a pre-budget meeting, CM Murad Ali Shah stated that the budget has been formulated keeping public priorities in mind and will be presented accordingly. He added that government employees will also receive relief in the upcoming budget.
CM Murad said that budget proposals were prepared following the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari. He said: "The PPP has always prioritised public and national interests."
